Project Schedule:

  • Days to Film:

I will be filming over the weekend because my brother and friend have the day off.  With him home, we are able to use his studio microphone for audio recording. We will be shooting all day until I feel the footage is how I imagined it.Also we are able to go to his house and a friend’s house to record two different locations for the beginning.
  • Props:

Due to the shakiness of my camera shots, I may need a tripod which I may be able to get. Otherwise, improvise using other equipment to fix the problem.
  • Graphics:

All I need is the footage we need to watch on the tv in order and cut. That has been completed ahead of time. Credits can be done without any type of struggle.
  • Editing time:

I've set a time to edit after we finish shooting over the weekend. My midterm project took me about 2-3 hours to edit. Since this video is longer but much more challenging, It may or may not take as much time or even longer.

Schedule for the "Immortality Pill" - Christian Tambling - MGFX

Schedule

Days that I am available to film: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. (4/15, 4/17, 4/19, etc.)

Days that the actors can be filmed: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon. (4/15, 4/17-4/19)

Access to Equipment: I have access to a camera for filming, lighting and a microphone (for dubbing over the narration for the commercial itself).

Location Access: Yes, there are no issues here. I will be able to film without any trouble.

Props: I will need the following to meet the requirements for the visuals that I have made present in the commercial. One fake gun, a table for several different scenes, a dagger (for the stabbing scene showing the advantages of the pill), a hammer, a stand for lighting an object on fire, safety goggles, one "immortality pill," several displaced objects (for the amalgamation of the objects into pill form), a printer, chairs, pens and a fake check.

Graphics/Footage: I need graphics for the last scene when the ad rolls across the screen. I can create it and it will take me about an hour.

Editing: I will edit sometime next week either 4/25 or 4/26, if shooting goes accordingly and everything works out like I hope it will. I estimate it to take at least 3 hours.

late proposal and script- Kyle Dambowsky

Proposal
I will be doing an infomercial about an amazing new product that will allow you to smell what’s on the internet or T.V. I will most likely be the actor and the narrator.

Script
The scene starts with me on the computer just browsing the web when….
                Narrator
Hay you!!!
Me looking around with a questioning look.
                Me:
Uhhhh… hello?
Narrator:
Do you want to enhance your web surfing experience?
                Me:
Where are you?

Narrator:
Then let me tell you about this amazing new product from    ______  .  This new technology has the ability to actually pull smells from the inter-webs and insert them directly into your nose!

Me looking under the bed:
No seriously where are you?

Narrator:
So Johnny have you ever smelled a coconut?

Me:
My names Kyle…..

Narrator:
Well now you can with ________!
Me looking in the fridge                :
This is starting to get weird….

Narrator:
So Billy I bet you are wondering how much this wonderful piece of equipment will cost you.

Me:
No.

Narrator:
Well for a limited time only you can get it for the low, low price of six easy payments on $39.99. And if you call in right now we will throw in another free. Yes free that a value of $6 bucks for only six payments of $39.99

So Jimmy seems like a small price to pay for such an amazing product, am I right?

Me:
Get out of my head!!!!

Narrator:
(laughing) All right bobby. Well what are you waiting for? Pick up the phone and call 1-800-GET-SOME that’s 1-800- GET-SOME. Call now!!!!!! I mean it!!!!
